(music by e.g.)
I want nothing more
than the freshwater of your flesh
encircling me.
I’ll have nothing less.
The freshwater of your flesh
inspecting me.
I’ll have nothing less
than to wade in the depths with you.
Inspecting me,
your eyes like spotlights.
I wade in the depths with you,
flowing freely.
Your eyes like spotlights,
searching me,
as we flow freely.
I want nothing less.
1. The pantoum poem originated in 15th-century Malaysia. It is a poem of any length written in quatrains, in which the second and fourth lines of one stanza are repeated as the first and third, respectively, in the next stanza.
